Walking back from Baggy Point on the National Trust land the coast path is strangely sheltered and warm even with a strong on-shore breeze that slices off the tops of the swell. The vanishing point past Downend Point opens out to Saunton Sands towards Airy Point at the Estuaries of the Taw and Torridge.
